ACCOMMODATIONS

The Dialogue will take place at:

Holiday Inn Washington Capitol

The Holiday Inn Washington Capitol is conveniently located only minutes from the city's most popular attractions. The hotel is located one block from the National Air & Space Museum, the most visited museum in the world and within walking distance to Washington’s area attractions including the White House, Smithsonian museums, Washington Monument Holocaust Museum, World War II Memorial, and the US Capitol Building. Room accommodations feature a classic décor and soothing color patterns sure to please even the most discriminating traveler.

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is located less than five miles from the hotel and the L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station is located within one block of the hotel.

All meetings will be held in the hotel conference rooms. Two continental breakfasts, one lunch, beverages and light snacks will be provided. All other meals are the responsibility of the attendee.

The Holiday Inn Washington Capitol offers convenient overnight parking at the rate of $25.00 per night. Rates are subject to change.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES For Non-sponsored Participants

  • Rooms have been reserved for the conference at the rate of $201 per night. All rates are subject to state & local taxes of 14.5%. Non-sponsored participants must make their own hotel reservations directly with the Holiday Inn Washington Capitol, no later than 5:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2008, to obtain the conference rate. To make reservations, call the hotel reservation office at (202) 479-4000. The conference rate will also be available 2 days pre and post meeting.
     
  • To obtain the group rate attendees must identify themselves as being associated with the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Adoption or use the following group code: CHL. All reservations must be accompanied by the first night’s room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.
     
  • Cancellations must be made by 3:00 PM, at least 72 hours prior to arrival, and a cancellation number must be obtained to avoid forfeiture of one night’s room rental and tax.
     
  • Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 NOON. If guests should arrive early for check-in, every effort will be made to accommodate them.
     
  • Neither the Children’s Bureau nor the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Adoption are responsible for making or guaranteeing room reservations for non-sponsored participants.
