Dialogue 2011 Overview
2011 Policy to Practice Dialogue: Making It Work In Child Welfare
Sponsored by the Administration for Children and Families Children’s Bureau
The 2011 Policy to Practice Dialogue (P2P) focused on exploring good practices and strategies for achieving permanency for youth in the child welfare system and how to translate that information effectively in states and counties. This year’s theme was “Making it Work in Child Welfare” by using child welfare information; examples of best practice; peer-to-peer learning, theory, and policy; combined with the resources available for workforce development; and through the Children’s Bureau’s Training and Technical Assistance Network to help achieve improvements and performance outcomes.
