Promising Approaches
The Children's Bureau actively identifies promising approaches in child welfare during the child and family services reviews. The promising approach descriptions are provided as a resource to States regarding areas of common concern identified during the child and family services reviews and Program Improvement Plan process. • Web Site Source for Adoption Assistance by State
  The Child Welfare Information Gateway web site now provides the Adoption Assistance by State database. Information is provided by the Association of Administrators of the Interstate Compact on Adoption and Medical Assistance and the American Public Human Services Association. • Wisconsin’s Foster Care Uniform Rate Setting Form
  The Foster Care Uniform Rate Setting Tool, administered by adoption staff for the purposes of setting the adoption assistance rate, is used as an aid when negotiating adoption subsidy contracts with adoptive parents.
